Solange Boma Anyu
MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Solange Boma is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 13 years of healthcare experience. She offers medication management and individualizes treatment according to her patients’ needs. She specializes in the assessment, diagnoses, and treatment of Depression, Anxiety, ADHD Testing and Management, Behavioral Issues, Insomnia, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Grief, Intellectual Disability, and Substance Use Disorders.  When providing care, she considers her clients’ psychological, biological, developmental, and social aspects. She is culturally sensitive, empathetic, and very particular about involving her clients in every step of their care because she believes this approach is synonymous with the best outcome.

Solange has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with the full gamut of psychiatric conditions.  Practice Settings have included inpatient, outpatient, partial hospitalization, and even nursing homes. She is warm, accepting, and non-judgmental. Solange believes that every human being has within them the ability to overcome mental illness and achieve wholeness and that medications can help facilitate that healing. She also understands that psychotherapy plays an even more significant role in many cases, and she will always encourage her patients to make it an integral part of their treatment.
